Do you or do you no someone?!
Question: i have sharp shootings pains down my bones, even if im lay in bed still, ive had x-rays, blood test, ultra sounds and the doctors can not find anything and thinks im making it up because i done look like a person in pain. have you had this problem or do you no someone who has these symptons and have you got any names for my problems

my mom had the same problem as a kid. shes 37 now. and for the longest time they thought she was faking it as well. they then detected fibromyalgia. a rare but cousin to artheritis. it gives you pain that cant be detected only you know its there. ask them of the possibilites of that. more symptoms are the following: severe fatigue, joint aches, and headaches.
you didn't say how old you are - it could be growing pains
Sorry yes you are 17 hey l stopped growing at about 14 but grrr my brother and sister had a spurt at 18 and are about 5" taller than me..but if you have a slow moment like me of growing these spurts can happen and are very bery painful just give it a little more time . Medication at your age is not good , maybe panadol paracetomol or something similar but deffinately not precribed meds not yet hang in there sweety

when I was your age I had a back injury and it trapped a nerve in my spine. I got shooting pains down my legs and god did they hurt (or at least that was what was suspected, they couldn't be sure, didn't know if it would go away or if it would return) luckily they prescribed 'kapake' a very strong paracetamol based pain killer and that allowed me to sleep, it got better on it's own in a week and has never come back. Hope that helps some hun x
If it helps I also had growing pains in my legs and yes it was a totally different pain.
