What to do about bad b.o.?!

Question: My bf has really bad b.o. and I can't figure out why. He uses deodorant and bathes regularly, but there's just something that makes him smell. I personally don't think he smells bad, but everyone else he knows thinks he stinks and can't stand to be around him. I feel really bad for him, I think it's just because he sweats a lot, we live in Hawaii and it's very humid, but he can't be taking a bath every hour. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with this? Should we go to a doctor or can this be helped at home?

He may have a medical condition of some kind over active sweet glands or something seeing a doc might help. check out www.mayoclinic.com maybe they have something on there.

Sometimes b.o. is diet related...........for example if he eats a lot of garlic

There is prescription strength deodorant that he can by over the counter, one I know of in particular is called certain dri. Other then that does he use a body wash when he showers? Or if he tries a male scented shampoo, they say scents stay in your hair longe rand can block out other scents from the body. What about cologne?

Does he use soap in the shower and use a good brand of deoderant? People who just rinse off and spray some aerosol on themselves will still stink.
Edit: I'm not sure if that kind of deoderant is an anti-persperant. If it doesn't say anti-persperant on it, then it is just a scented stick and won't help keep him from sweating under his arms.

Wash.

is his clothes clean,house clean?

this is really a hard question...my mom use to tell me never to borrow clothes from my friends..mixture of our sweat may turn out to be b.o.

well if he let some friends use his clothes..better to stop the habbit..

my advice would be...dont let yourself sweat

sorry can't help much..
