I have a weird problem.?!

Question: Every night in the evening my feet get really cold to the point where I put on 2 pairs of socks and that still does'nt help and then I seem to be cold all over. The temp in my house is warm and everyone else is usually hot when I'm freezing. This does not happen during the day so I have no idea what is going on. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know what it is? I would appreciate any answer I can get.

I have the same problem. Sometimes my hands get very cold too but my feet are always a problem. Even though I live in Florida, (sometimes even in the Summer) my feet are cold. I normally wear 2 socks and slippers when the weather cools down (I'm talking about 72 degrees) but still feel cold. It is very annoying and uncomfortable.

It can be derived from anything, from diseases (like diabetes)to just plain problems with your circulation. If you have pain associated with it, you should see a doctor. I have noticed that when I used to work out 4-5 times a week, I didn't really have much of a problem. Regular walks don't help much with me, I have to engage in rigorous cardio to alleviate the symptoms. I suggest starting up cardio and weight-training several times a week and see if your symptoms dissipate. If not, next time you go to a doctor for an annual exam bring up your problem.

By the way, massaging of the feet helps with the blood circulation. I do this after I take a hot shower and put my socks on, which lasts for some time. Sometimes I use a shower massager and aim it at my feet. I know Brookstone has a foot warmer/massager that you can use to help.

I am actually going to buy this because when I visited Chicago recently, the cold was too much for my poor feet. I couldn't stand it. I might even live there, which is a scary prospect. I mostly sit all day because of my work, which does not help with your circulation. I try to get up in the middle of it and do jumping jacks to get the blood flowing.

You prolly have low circulation in your feet when you relax.

I have that same problem and I don't have a clue about it. at least your not the only one.

do you smoke? you could just have poor circulation

If your feet are cold...cover your head....you lose so much heat from your head

I would have your hormones checked out. There are many afflictions that can be caused by out of whack hormones. You did not mention how old you are but you could be going through peri-menopause.
