Why does my right hand always get cold?!

Question: I go to school online so I am always on the computer. I'm 22, 5'6 and 130lbs. When I'm typing for a while (1 hour or so) my right hand always gets really cold, but my left one is warm. What could this be from? And how can I fix it?

Let me offer this, and see what you think.
I am caregiver for elderly folks and people
who are ill of all ages.
I've noticed a peculiar thing when unable to
take BP from the left arm as usual.
When taking BP from the right arm, (which
is a bit farther from the heart) sometimes I notice
a difference of as much as 20 pts from the
left arm, (lower reading).
In your computer "control panel" you can set
your mouse up for left-hand use.
It may be awkward, but do an experiment.
Use your mouse with your left hand a few days
and see if your left hand becomes the cold hand.
If not, you may just have that peculiar uneven BP
between your left and right arm. I don't think it
would be "clogged arteries" at 22!
As for treatment, I wouldn't worry too much.
Just "change off" once in awhile. It could be
the BP variance is hereditary.

it happens to me aswell
its just a freaky nature thing involed by using the mouse

honestly, i have no idea but thats a really interesting question lol

it happens to me all the time try warming it up by rubbing your hand for a while or putting your hand under some warm water, it always helps me.

That happens to me all the time! I think it might be from being on the computer so much. Most people, when they use the mouse they put their left hand in their lap, which would help to warm it up a little bit, so your right hand would seem colder than your right.
You can fix it by taking a break every few minutes and just holding your hands together, or you could keep a hot drink by you, like coffee or tea, and just hold it in your hands to warm them up.

Stay Warm!

The circulation down your right arm may not be as good as the circulation down the left and as a result it becomes cold due to a lower supply of heat and blood. You may have fatty deposits in the artery going to your right arm (they can occur anywhere) and this is often caused by a diet too high in animal fats and lacking in vitamins (antioxidants). You may also be taking too much salt. Salt inhibits normal blood flow by thickening the blood so more strain is put on the heart. In this case the outer extremities of your body with not get as much food or heat as they need such as the hands.

This is becoz u r continously moving the mouse at a speed against the wind and so this is warm. I would suggest keep ur right hand in ur pocket when u r not typing or using a mouse...

maybe its from bad circulation from using the mouse and typing a lot. my right hand's circulation gets cut off sometimes and i get that "pins and needles" feeling. hope this helps
