my dear-
this is something that is between you and your dr and should include family too He will tell you the PROPER way, and can give you something to help with the withdrawal that you will go thru

I dont understand for your sudden reason to QUIT-did someone say something to to you to cause you to second guess your need for medication?
- I say, good for you , kudos and more power to you for doing it, - applause, and i will be a big cheerleader for you, but you have a physical condition that these meds are needed for
NO NEED to suffer if you do not have to. i felt like you at one point and when i realized I was hurting myself more I changed my mind.
the meds I am on would floor a person and I am not 'proud' but I currently have r spinal column stimulator and where I WAS snowed under-
Please think about what you would be doing, and ask for alternative meds to help you function.

Also, I encourage you to get in a swimming pool therapy program to help your whole body You said you were in a lot of pain -- this helps tae pressure off - by floating, you are 1/3 your body weight -- the water provides a soft cusion to land on and makes exercising easier

best wishes on getting off the med, but if you cant do it entirely...DO NOT beat yourself up for taking them, and quit to make someone else happy! this the problem with chronic pain....and a vicious cycle!!!

wean lortab is a narcotic known to cause withdrawal symptoms. speack to a dr or pharmacist for the best step down dose.

yes you have withdrawals dont cold turkey it wean your self off with your dr help . your body is used to it and you will get pain becuse your body craves it good luck been there so i know

you need to find out from the DR who's prescribing the Lortab to you... you shouldn't just quit cold turkey... and there is a chance you could be dependent on the Lortab....

You will experience some withdrawals, but you can do it yourself. I don't recommend it, however if you have someone stay with you...making sure you stay hydrated and physically safe, you can do it. It will take you anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, but stay strong. You can do it. You might want to think about having a doctor take you down a little at a time, but since Loratab isn't a very strong pain med, and your only taking three per day, you should be ok doing it with a friend close by.

if you are only taking two a day you will not have any problems. The threshold for withdrawls is around 40mg per day

well u should be ok, i dont think you will have withdrawels although it is a narcotic but i had taken vicodin 5/500mg 2 at a time up to 3 times a day for my back pain this past summer and when i ran out no i didnt have any effects. yes u been on it longer but i really dont think you will. try to take antiiflammatories in place so you stay ahead of the pain. good luck..

No you will not have any withdrawls.

I've been on pain medication and in a pain management program for years and have a lot of experience with pain meds especially hydrocodone which I have been taking for years for a spine injury

If you are worried about it try breaking them in half and wean off them
