Always tired, getting headaches, never eating..?!

Question: It seems I can never get a break. I'm never hungry & don't have enough energy to get me through the day. I'm also a dancer, but recently when I dance I get these splitting headaches that won't go away. My body has been hurting as well, like really sore. Its been going on for the past week & I know its not mono because I had that a few years ago in highschool. I also know its not lack of sleep because I get 8 hours every night and when I get home from work i've been sleeping for hours at a time until dance class. I would go to a doctor but it doesn't seem like its anything to big. Or should I be worried?

it would be good to see doc but it would be better if make a flexible system to your life to break life routine eat a balanced diet sleep well dance may replace exercise take a vacation open day for smelling new air keep away from XS use of analgesic

you must be really sick, if i must say. i think we all know what you have to do, see a doctor.

Sounds like it could be depression, or your body could just be suffering because you're not eating much for whatever reason. I don't know how often you dance, but if you practice very often, I'd suggest taking a short break from that if you can. It could also be stress weighing down on you if you have a hard job, classes to attend, financial issues or personal issues. To me it just sounds like you need a little break though. Try to find some time to do something fun that isn't going to sap your energy, and if you think you might be depressed it wouldn't hurt to schedule a meeting with a therapist or talk to a friend. Having no appetite, sleeping excessively, and getting headaches are some signs of depression. There's other signs too, such as lack of motivation, being uninterested in things that you usually like to do, and feeling sad, obviously.

You say it doesn't seem like a big thing, but it's best to go see your doctor and get checked out. It's possible that you have an under active Thyroid (Hypothyroidism) or some other ailment that is easily treatable. But sometimes, minor medical problems worsen and cause other complications if left untreated.

Your symptoms sound similar to those of Hypothyroidism which may include any of the following:
Fatigue
Poor muscle tone (muscle hypotonia)
Cold intolerance, increased sensitivity to cold
Constipation
Unexplained Weight gain
Muscle cramps and joint pain
Thin, brittle fingernails, hair
Paleness

Hypothyroidism is very dangerous if left untreated. I'm saying it's a Thyroid problem, I'm just giving you an example of one medical problem that could cause those symptoms.

The bottom line is you need to get yourself into a doctor and get some testing done. If you do have something wrong, it's best to diagnose it early when you have the best chance of treating the problem.
