DO NOT START PLAYING SOCCER AGAIN.
since you have a stress fracture, why would you want to risk making it WORSE while running for a few hours in a game? i know it sucks to not be able to play a favorite sport because of an injury. i broke my hand the night of when i made varsity basketball freshmen year...so i stuck around on the team so i can play when i get the cast off...well when i went back to the doctors they cut off the cast then put another one on cause it wasn't healed...then a month later they took it off and i never had surgery on it...so i started playing a few games without my hand being taped. i got a boxer fracture, i totally seperated my pinky bone in my hand...so the knuckle sticks out on the back of my hand now sorta.(sick, right? try living with it)..all because i wouldn't wait a few weeks. now i have the worst time writing for long periods of time since it was my left hand i broke and i'm a lefty. i played guitar beforei broke my hand and after my hand was better two years ago, i am pretty good for real...but lets just say, i'll never play lead guitar in a band ever again.
so please take my advice....just wait until it's fully healed.
It could completly break one day.
