repetitive stress syndrome (if you work as a typist or do repetitive lifting/manual labour) the muscles and joints in the hand can get worn out and should recover with rest and change of work condition

carpal tunnel (nerve compression at the wrist usually due to prolonged of the above)

arthritis (rheumatoid if there is swelling, redness of your joints, simple osteoarthritis usually occurs from late 50s onwards, but you can get arthritis at a young age in some cases)

gout (cystal accumulation in a joint) usually will be a single joint which will also be red and swollen

If it's a recent problem which has started out of the blue it's most likely an injury or strain you've done. Try to rest the hand and take some ibuprofen and see if it starts to feel better. If after a week it is the same go to the doctors as you might need further investigation.

carpul tunnel maybe

Arthritis of the joints. An inflamation, try naprosyn (Alieve).

GO SEE YOUR DR. ,,,,,,,,,,,you could be developing arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, could have a cyst in your wrist, the pain could be caused by a number of things. Chances are good it will not go away unless you find the cause and it is treated.

Try half a bottle instead of a full one,on a more serious note it could be Arthritis try Anti-Inflammatorys.
