Problems With my knees?!

Question: Im a very active teen but lately, last month and a half i've been getting throbbing pains in both of my knees (it hurts more in my left) I wear a brace but it doesn't really help. Knee problems run in my family and my mom had to have surgery for cartilage build up and to straighten her knee caps. My knees caps are loose (i mean i can move them in circle, about 1 and a half inches in each direction.

Does anyone have any ideas that will help me with pain. It has become daily, and frequent. I take ibuprofen but it does nothing to numb it. i've tried gels and ice but they only seem to numb it and then i comes back even worst...

Thanks
