How do I know my friend is smoking nicotine?
My friend and I were at my neighborhood park and she said her older friend was coming to hang out with us. When he got there he pulled out a box of cigarettes and a lighter and started smoking. I soon left and came back with my best friend to spy on them and they caught us. We came out and the older guy wasn't smoking anymore. We wanted to see if my friend had been smoking while we were gone. My best friend thought she saw a cigarette shaped indent in my friend's back pocket..but we are not completely sure. She stood in the same spot the whole time, as if she was hiding something. She didn't get close to us, so I think she was trying to keep us from smelling her breath. Also, she has been acting very rebellious and has new friends to match. What are some signs that she had been smoking?

clothes start to smell, she may cough more, she may become irritable if she doesn't get a chance to smoke, though that comes after the addiction begins, besides that you could always ask...
Is she under 18? If so whoever supplies her with tobbaco is breaking the law.
