Heat stroke?!
Question:
Heat stroke?
Yesterday I was working on my car, under the dash. I had only been out there about two hours when I suddenly got the feeling I was about the throw up even though I hadn't eaten since lunch about 7 hours earlier. I ran (stumbled?) into the house...I had that really dazed feeling you get when you're starting to feel like you're going to pass out.
I didn't throw up, but at one point I was laying in the bathroom on my side because I felt like I was going to pass out and I didn't want to throw up and pass out on my back. My shirt was soaked all the way through, and I'm not normally someone who sweats a lot. I may have passed out, it's hard to tell, but if I did it was only for a minute or so.
I take Prilosec and Selexa.
What the hell was that?
Answers:
It may have been heat stroke combined with the fact that you were working hard in the heat and hadn't eaten for a while. It's possible that your blood sugar got too low, which would account for dizziness and feeling like you're going to pass out.
