I can't taste food as well all of a sudden, has this happened to anyone?
Recently i've been having major problems with insomnia, some nights i just dont sleep, but besides that all of a sudden i can't taste foods as well as usual. Especially in the morning.Could it be related to not sleeping? I had my tonsils out a couple years ago and the same thing happened for a month but i figured it was related to having my tonsils out. Has anyone had this happen? Its very strange, currently im not on any meds besides st. johns wort supplement and vitamins.

That happened to me when I was drinking alot, I hear it kills the tastebuds. No wonder you gain weight in sobriety!
