i had heart problems and started to smoke less and less in a year and than all of a sudden just stopped, it helped for me to smoke less first, i now been nicotine free for almost 7 months and it feels great, ofcourse i still have cravings every now and than and yes i gained weight, all those things you need to accept, you can work on that later on in life, go for it and i be cheering for you, you can do it.
