I'm short and it sucks.?

I'm 18 years old, 5'6" and I believe I'm slightly taller than my father. My mom is 5'0", and most of my family is short as well (few exceptions). Do I have any chance of getting taller? If not, do you have magical growing beans that I can have? If the beans are not growing well this season, does anyone in my position have any tips to help me with my confidence?

Stories about people who grew 4 inches between 18 and 21 would be cool.

find a hobby or something you are good at (a job) and use that for your sense of confidence. we can't control how tall we grow, which really sucks. but we can control how we view ourselves.

i dated a guy that was my height (5'4") who was one of the most confident people i had ever met. he took his confidence from his work and excelled at work. but he also had the strongest calves i have ever seen from standing on his toes the entire time he was growing up to make himself seem taller........lol

right now you are an average height. everyone has something about themselves they want to change. look on the bright side, if you only date really tall girls, you will be exactly the right height to be on eye level with their chests! tall guys can't do that!
