Hi. I am a teenager needing answers about allergy shots.?
I have been getting two allergy shots a week for several weeks. They burn/sting and leave bruises, is this normal? How can I help this? Also, can it hurt you to put band-aids on allergy shots?

It depends. If you are allergic to what was injected than it is normal. I had the same thing and they left huge bruises. It took long but they eventually went away. However if the bruises form from something you are not allergic to then that is a problem and a doctor has to be seen right away.
