I think meditation is the most common method used to relax.
The suggestion by All Saint Rocks is a good way to start meditating. Don't drink beverages with caffeine, such as tea and sodas. Medicating the problem with weed just seems to make it worse in the long run.
Vigorous exercise about 1 hour before trying to relax will help.
