Question:

Can a minor legally purchase salvia?

I have found a headshop in my state but am skeptical about visiting because of my age (17). I intend to buy salvia.. but dunno if they would sell me it.

Purchasing salvia is perfectly legal for minors except in the states which prohibit it: Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Delaware.
