Anyone know how to interpret an MRI of the shoulder?!
Question:
Anyone know how to interpret an MRI of the shoulder?
What does this mean? "Small 5 mm focus of signal alteration within the insertion portion of the infraspinatus tendon consistent with a minimal tendinopathy." ?? (It is a left shoulder MRI) Thank you in advance for your help.
Answers:
It means that there seems to be a minor injury to a tendon in your shoulder. It should get better with rest, and possibly a little physical therapy.
