Losing weight and toning -- how long till results?

I've never really worked out before, but I just started and have been going strong for about three weeks. I do yoga (sometimes it's intense, other times not so much) for a half hour a day about three or four days a week. I don't really want to lose weight (I'm 4'10" and like 95 lbs) but I neeed to tone. I feel like I've slimmed down a lot in my butt and arms and thighs, but my stomach is still big. How long do you usually have to work out before you start to see results?

You should notice muscle toning in 6-8 wks. max. Actually, as you build your muscles you should be gaining weight. Muscles do make you heavier. You didn't say what kind of working out you're doing to build yourself up. Lifting small weights definitely build muscle. For your stomach, do crunches. Also, for your waist, stand w/legs slightly apart, hold arms straight out, & swing them around from side to side. This definately w/help trim your waist area. As in aerobics...You can use cans or bags of food or books as weights! Just add to them when you want to add more weights to lift.
