Answers:

Too much stress can cause the nerves in your stomach to have a reaction to it. I learn this the hard way as well from working at a high stress job, and trying to manage a house, plus raising kids.

There were some foods that did trigger it. At the time I could not eat any sandwich that had onions, mustard, or a combination of both. You might want to check what foods/ drinks that you have been ingesting that may have caused your stomach to become upset.

Foods with high acid content, and sometimes those made with vinegar can trigger that to happen. Foods like tomatoes, lemons, oranges, critic acid foods along with drinks that contain citric acids can also lead to having your stomach to bother you.

Those OTC stomach pills did not even phase my stomach problem. The only thing that did was changing my diet, my job, and taking Nexium.

Since I've left that job (along with many other stressful jobs) my stomach does not bother me to the sever point anymore.
I still have watch what I eat/drink or else I will have heart burn.
Which then only way to get rid of it is by taking the little purple pill.

Take each day one step at a time to help yourself over come and to learn how to coup with what has been thrown into your lap recently.
