Easy ways to calm down?
I've just started this job and it is causing me to be very on edge - there really isn't much of a reason for it, since the job is fairly simple.
Anyway, it's a desk job, and I was wondering if there were any things that I could do while sitting that might relieve tension/stress and just calm me down a little? Such as breathing exercises or something?

Good question: Here's some ideas--
o Every once in a while, close your eyes, relax your facial and neck muscles as much as you can and take some really deep breaths.
o Come in before everyone else and get cracking right away
o Don't each lunch at your desk--get outside if you can.
o Listen to classical music on earphones if permitted.
o Every hour or so, get up from your desk, walk down some stairs and then walk up again.
o Change your posture and get a screen mask for your computer.
o All work places have negative people--avoid them by all means.
o Exercise regularly--best stress buster there is.
o Do some stretching--legs, trunk, arms, hands, etc.--every 2 hours or so.
o Keep caffeine at a reasonable level.
