Every time when I have to defecate, I seem to urinate also. Anyone know why? Or what it's called?
Answers:
It's called "physiology". It's the way most of us work: when we evacuate our bowels, the fecal mass stimulates the bladder as it passes by and if there's more than a small amount of urine in the bladder, we find we have to empty that, too. I have patients who find they have to urinate even when they've just broke wind. It isn't anything calling for worry or treatment.
