My mom is dying and on dialysis which increases the risk of heart attacks 30 times and she has had several heart attacks since being on dialysis..No heart problems previous.
I am trying to talk my mom into going on an incurables program and other health building steps that I believe can greatly improve her if not eventually potentially even cure her.
My mom is very depressed as they told her if she did not have eye surgery, she would go blind (she is 78)..they told her the surgery would absolutely not make her worst. After terrifying her into the surgery, they essentially said they were mistaken and she did not need the surgery (then immediately covered his statement by saying but it is good you had the surgery in case you ever get the problem (that we said you had and did not) down the road. Her vision immediately took a downturn that is the surgery did make it worst after the doctor said it would not
Her history is full of doctors messing up, yet she trusts them and not me.

.(despite her thinking she was dying tonight and having severe chest pains and no help from taking four nitro caps)..she was going to the hospital and I gave her a simple natural treatment and amazingly in less than a minute and a half, her entire demeanor changed..she went from looking like she was dying..just looked horrible and complained the pain was never that bad to normal and all pain stopped. Before our eyes she improved in appearance and sat up and started talking fine and said all the pain left and how bad it was and despite my studying intensely alternative health and being very smart and a voracious reader on the topic).
I had talked her into a health building program last week which she has stopped unfortunately but when she began it there was improvement and she even decided to change her directive on not being revived..she decided she now wanted to be revived which I took as a sign that she was feeling more hope. My brother and I were very happy as we want her revived

especially since I am trying to work on them to go unto this program that I know will help.
My brother told me tonight that she had again changed her mind and decided not to be revived BECAUSE the heart doctor talked her into not being revived telling her why do you want to be revived and come back to this crappy world and how do you know you will not be in worst condition then.
I am furious with this doctor sticking his nose into it..this is my mom and I did not want her to die..now she has it in the records to not revive her..I am considering writing a letter to the doctor expressing how I feel, but know my mom will be furious as she has this worry about what others think and she likes me least of her 6 kids and I know her well and she would be mad. I do not want to wait until she dies to tell him how upsetting it is to me and other family members what he did in talking her into not being revived..since she has these heart problems, she may need to be revived down the road and now

it is illegal..thanks to the dang doctor sticking his nose in there..it is our mom and our loss..he doesn't care if she lives or dies..we do..should I write the doctor my opinion even though my mom will be mad..I find it hard to not say how my brother and I feel about his unwanted interference in a family matter.

In answer to the last person and the man calling me selfish and saying alternative health won't work..only tonight, I was awed by the power of alternative medicine..my mom said she thought she was dying..has had 7 heart attacks in a year and may well have been having one tonight..she said worst pain she ever had and take me to the hospital which she NEVER goes to..she took four nitroglyercin NO help..pains on her chest and back and numb arm..looked horrible also vomited. For the first time I was there and despite the yelling objection of my medically oriented sister and my brother,. I administered a natural treatment my mom consented to..It was astounding within 90 seconds the pain all left and she dramatically improved in the way she looked and acted and seemed fine. I know she can be cured and I have knowledge of how known to less than maybe 10,00 to 50,000 people..I want only this from her..one full hearted attempt to see if it will help and it is so hard to get that as she is set

Answers:
I sympothize with you for I am on my last legs myself fighting kidney desease, I am now at 45% function but I am controlling it with diet so far. I watch what I eat and drink and exercise regularly.
I will pray for you, your brother and your mom.
I agree with you that there are alteratives out there. You and your brother need to make a united front and explain to your mom these alternatives and show her some pamphlets and leaflets on what you are talking about, Research is key to any treatment, and it needs to be done by the patient or his/her family. Doctors are NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!
You need to consult a attorney about the reviving and not reviving, you and your brother have more legal rights than her doctor to help her change her will. please seek legal advise usually the consultation fees are waived for just one consultation..... yes it is illegal for a doctor to do a kavorkian! basically that is what he did, he is advocating an early demise for your mom.
