Will drugs show up in a bloodtest?!

Question: Will drugs show up in a bloodtest?
I did ecstasy on the 8th of January, and had a bloodtest done on the 31st of January. Will anything show up in the blood test? They aren't testing for drugs.
Do they have to do a specific test for drugs?
This was just a regular blood test.

I'm only 15, and I just dont want my mom to freak if my doctor says anything. Im really scared and i made a super stupid mistake that I will not make again!

Please be honest too, and please dont say yes it will show up just to scare me if its not true. Thanks everyone!

Forget about it. It's undetectable after about 48hrs. The risk with E is the detection of amphetamines but, again, it's not going to be the case after three weeks.

Blood tests are often taken to screen for a large range of drugs but they usually specifically test for them and they should inform you they are going to do that.

The only drug that hangs around for that length of time is the thc in cannabis. Ironic, really - the least potent of illicit drugs lasts the longest in the blood (up to a month).

Edit: At questioner. Doesn't matter what they test for - 99% of MDMA is demethylenated to 3,4-dihydroxymethamphetamine within 48hrs. 1% of the original pill won't be detected by standard tests after a couple of days. The amphetamine I referred to earlier stays in the blood for a week or so but won't be detected after 3 wks of abstinence by any test, least of all a test for MDMA.

Chill. Go to bed. Stop worrying about it. Don't listen to those that say it can be detected.

If they test for ecstasy, then, yes, it will show. However, I assume that this is a medical test. There are many routine blood tests, depending on what the doctor thinks is wrong. The simplest, for diabetes, takes a minute but that's unlikely as a urine test is usually done for that. Your test may be for liver or kidney function. As the liver has many functions, the doctor could seek one of many specific tests or a general test. The doctor might also be checking for various illnesses through various blood counts. Without a lot more detail, it's not possible to know what the test is for and whether or not a suspicion of drugs might be raised.

It depends, but ecstasy is less likely than other drugs, if you speak to the doc in private between now and then he shouldnt reallt say anything to your parents

it's been long enough that the drug is out of your system and your doctor can't tell your parents about any drugs in your system if the blood test isn't for it

Possible it can show

maybe, maybe not

No because i have had bloods taken with drugs in my system and they never said anything.

If they test for E, then it will show.

Only if the blooded is tested for drugs.

They might.It depends.

Nope, She has to request it.
