Will skipping with a jump rope make me taller?!

Question: Will skipping with a jump rope make me taller?
I know if everyone in your family is of less than average height, then there's nothing you can do. However, my mom is quite tall at being 5'9 and my dad 5'10 and my by brother being 5'11 or 6'0. So there is potential for me to be taller but I haven't seen it yet since I am 5'3. I hear that if you skip with a jump rope then you might become taller a little bit. Is that true or is it just an urban myth? If it's not true then what can I do to become taller?

Answers:

If you are 19 I think you are probably the tallest you are going to be. You just got short genes in the family. Jumping rope is not going to make you taller. Be happy with your height cause most guys like girls your height.

I got the short genes in my family also and I am the same height as you but I am a grown male.

Who cares, accept who you are and stop been so insecure. You won't grow anymore, sorry, girls stop growing at 18 and men in their 20's.

By the way the world average for a man is 5'7 and for a women I'm not sure.

lmao NO... FYI women stop growing when they reach the age 18, and men stop growing at 21. In height anyways...
