Question: What should i do when i am having difficulty swallowing, have a sore throat and coughing constantly?

Have you tried a decongestant? More than likely you have sinus drainage that is running down the back of your throat and is causing you to cough. It would probably be a good idea to see a doctor if you are having difficulty swallowing. Until you see your doctor try a decongestant or an expectorant. If you start experiencing difficulty breathing see your doctor at once. Dayquil, Advil Sinus, and Pseudofed are some examples of decongestants. You cannot take these if you have high blood pressure without consulting with your doctor first. Robitussin has an expectorant in it. Drink plenty of fluids such as juice and water. Try to stay away from milk products. They won't increase the mucus but can make it thicker. If you are running a fever with your sore throat definitely see a doctor to rule out strep.

With difficulty swallowing, esp. if accompanied by breathing difficulties by any chance, I'd suggest an ER trip, and the sooner the better. You don't want to play with your respiratory system. That's not good. It may be nothing in the long run, but why risk it?
