What wrong with me and my nose?!

Some people are more prone to it than others. When I was younger I would get one every single day, sometimes twice. I went to the doctors, and he told me a couple of veins in my nose were weak, so he burned them off with this tiny little stick. It didn't hurt a bit and my nose bleeds went away.

Another reason for nose bleeds is the environment. If your room is very dry, especially if you notice that most of your nose bleeds are always in the same place, you should fix that. A humidifier can help, or put the heater on. Most of these types of nosebleeds happen during the winter, when the air is very dry.

Bloody noses can have lots of causes, but if you are young and don't have hypertension, my first guess would be irritation from dry air coupled with blood vessels located a little closer to the surface than normal. You really should go to your doctor and get checked out.
