Question: Anyone have a good home remedy for cut & bloodied fingers?

We are remodeling our bathroom and my husband has spent days sanding the newly mudded room. He now has 3 band-aids on each finger as they are so roughed up and cut from the sandpaper. He can hardly do anything! I was hoping someone may have a good remedy for soaking them or something. Thanks!
