Okay this is really disconcerting, help?!
Question: Okay this is really disconcerting, help!?
okay so I woke up this morning and part of the left side of my neck just below my ear started to hurt!. I went to the washroom to check it out and there's a bump!. when I touch it slightly it hurts but it seems to be like a ball shape!. and when you look at it, you can actually see it!.
This is really scaring me because i'm just starting Exams!. I really need all the help I can get in a positive manner that will help me solve this problem!.!.!.!. any help will work!.!.!.help!?
I'm also 14 years old, if that helps any!.

I had a lump on my throat a couple years ago, and I went to the free university doctor's office, which is pretty crappy!. He told me it was a viral lymphocyte (which I'm pretty sure was bullshit), and gave me some antibiotics, which by the way don't work on viruses!. Any, it slowly went away over they next couple of weeks!. But see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i am far from a doctor but it could be your lymph nodes i had that problem when i was about your age but it was both sides of my neck the doctors told me it was an infection and gave me antibiotics and in a couple of days i was okWww@Answer-Health@Com
It's most likely just a zit!. Don't worry allot of people get them on the neck!. Nothing to be concerned about just put some acne lotion on or wash your neck and it will go away!. Good luck on your exams!

My sibs get them all the time
It's gonna need to get drained so you can try adn drain it yourself some!. Take a needle and sanitize it with rubbing alcohol or something and poke it in the lump!. Depending on how nervous needles make you you may want a friend to help you out!. If pus comes out (it's pretty gross, I know) then it's probably nothing big!. Drain as much as you can and see if it goes down some over the next day or two!. If it doesn't it could be as serious as a staph infection so if you go see your doctor (which I would advise) he'll probably give you some antibiotics!. You should see a doctor though because it may be a resistant stapholocaucus (I think that's how it's spelled, staph) infection and my neigbor ended up in the hospital for a night because he didn't get to a doctor soon enough!.
