Question: Getting a flu shot-pain!?
I really hate shots!. But I decided to get a flu shot this year cause I've gotten the flu for the past few years and I can't miss any school this year!. Just the idea of getting a shot makes me shiver!. I'm getting it today in about 45 minutes!. Can I do anything to make it hurt less!? I know the things with being distracted, but that doesn't work for me, and I don't think the place I'm going has the numbing option!. What can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can have someone with you and talk to them as a distraction!.!.!.!.it will be done before you know it!. Believe it or not , I had mine todayand that worked for me!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
try to distract yourself!. get something in ur head and think about as intensely as u can!. and look away, of course!.
also, i'm sure if u asked them they could put ice or something on it first!. u could even bring ur own ice pack and discreetly put it on ur arm before they come in!.
