Does dehydration hinder blood flow?!

Question: Does dehydration hinder blood flow!?
A couple years ago, I thought my blood sugar was bad and called a friend to see if I could use her husbands machine!. He was amazed when no blood came from my fingers even though the needle was new and sharp!.
Today, I had to have blood drawn after fasting!. I had an excellent vein and the nurse knew what she was doing!.!. but even though the needle was in my vein, hardly any blood went into the tube!. She eventually "blew out" the vein and had to go to my other arm!. She didn't use a tourniquet the second time and even though the blood moved very slowly, I didn't manage to fill 2 tubes lol!.

I'm almost always partially dehydrated and wonder if that could have contributed to those events!?

When I was pregnant and had to go to the doctor every few weeks, they would draw blood!. I used to drink a glass of OJ every morning!. My blood never flowed!. She asked me what I drank that morning and after telling her, she replied that it was stopping up my "flow"!. After that I drank water and had no problems!.

So I would imagine that yes, dehydration affects the flow of your blood!. DRINK SOME WATER!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it can!. And anemia!. I have the same problem you do!. Besides, my veins are so tiny it is hard to find them!. Try taking a multivitamin and drinking more water!. See if that helps!. Also, if you were fasting before the blood tests, it will slow down your blood flow!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
