Question: Can i die off of an over dose of cough syrup!?
I have a generic brand and 10 fl oz!. it says to call poison control if you overdose!. Will i be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes- if it says drinking 10 fl oz will cause you to overdose, and you drank 10 fluid oz, you should call the poison control center!.

That depends!.!.!. is it children's cough or adult formula!?
Children's cough meds are ok- not wise to do- but ok!.!.!.they purposely make children's in low dose, for their small bodies!.
If it is for adults, than yes i would be conserned if you chugged the whole bottle!.!.!. But it also depends on how big you are, the bigger you are the less it could have effect on you!.!.!. it is a fact that teens have died because of an overdose on cough medicine!.!.!.

You would have to drink a very large amount to overdose on cough syrup!. It's very hard to overdose on this kind of medicine as you would have to drink a much larger amount than recommended for it to have any major negative side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well, if you start to feel funny, the first VERY important thing to do is make yourself puke by sticking your finger down your throat!. then you call the ambulance!. If your fine than you don't have anything to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
