How do you do a split? ?!


Question: How do you do a split!? !?
I am really not flexible!. I can't do a split and I really want to!. Does anyone know any stretches or how to get your split!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My coach gave me an idea for a good stretch that won't be as hard as just trying to lower down into the split position (it wears out your arms after awhile that way)!. You lay down on the floor near a couch or something that touches all the way to the floor and is straight across, then you scoot your rear to it until it's right up against it, holding your legs straight up (so that you look like a letter "L"!.!.!.with the couch as an "I", it would look like this: IL--sorry, I'm trying to explain it the best I can!) Anyway, once you're in that position, you let your legs drop spread-eagle (like in a "V") until they stop on their own!. It helps if they're against the surface of the couch, or you can do it up against a wall because then the backside of your leg can rest against the wall!. I used to do this for 15-20 min at a time, whatever you can handle!. I would read or listen to music while I was doing it!. It works pretty quickly if you do it every day!. You'll get to the point where you'll have to push the inside of your legs down a bit to get more stretch, but it'll get easier the more you do it!. stretch to get really limber, try each day to apply more pressure to your would-be split!. It won't happen overnight but if u keep trying applying more pressure every day u will be able to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just keep trying to do it and try and lower each time or stay in that position to stretch muscles~slowly but surely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
