Question: Do i have toxic shock syndrome!?
im 16 and its the 3rd day of my period i have been using tampons for 2 years and have left them in for a while! like one time i forgot for a whole 24 hours! so i am really lucky!. but today i had bad cramps in the morning so i didnt eat breakfast or lunch but at about one i started getting really bad cramps and getting really hot!. i felt like i couldnt move and i was shaking!.( i took the tampon out and it was 7 hours total!.) so i got and walked around and figured it would go away and the cramps did but i got a headache!. i just tryed to relax and it slowly wore off!. it's been a day and i still feel tried and i kinda have cramps but im worryed!. am i ok!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Headache is normal for a period and so is cramps (as you would know), aselll aw hot flushes!. You should check your temperature and if it is higher than normal I would go to the Dr and get it checked because that is your first sign of infection!.!. If it has been a day and your are well enough to be on the computer then I doubt it is TSS, TSS spreads very quickley and you can be dead within 24 hours so if you are feeling ok and dont have a temp I tihnk you are fine maybe just bad period pain xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

u might not be go to a doctor 24 hours is way too much and try not to even go the full 8 leave tampons in like 3-6 hours most safest i rly want to tell u not to wry but that would be bad on my part go to the doctor it cant hurt u Www@Answer-Health@Com

you dont WANT to see how long you can wear a tampon for!. ITS FOUR HOURS MAX! even if you havent used it all the way!. wow!. so use this for further notice!.!.!.!.
but right now, if you are really worried ask your mom or aunt or sister!.
research the symptoms of TSS (its comes in most tampon boxes, info about it) and see if they apply!. and if it gets bad, you NEED TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR or SEE THEM!. because TSS can be fatal!.
