Keep in mind that the withdrawal from the other drug is good for you and will only last at most a week!. You can try benadryl, melatonin or valarian root, good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi
I take Tramadol/Zydol, go back to your doctor and tell him that they're not strong enough, he will probably let you increase the dosage but whatever you do don't let him put you on Paracetamol, most doctors are doing this because they're about 50p per tonne, cheep and ineffective for people with real pain!. Good Luck!.

can you cut down rather then just cut out!? could be a better solution!.

Also, dont let yourself sleep in the day, you will get better in terms of your sleep but it will take time!. If you let yourself catchup sleeping in the day you will find it harder to sleep at night and set a vicious cycle up!. Please dont let yourself do this!

Try to be active in the day, both physically and mentally, it will be easier to stay awake if you are stimulated!. Also try to keep yourself in contact with people who can help keep you awake in the day!.

When it comes to sleeping at night, allow yourself up to 8 hours!. 9 max if you are very very sleep deprived (I am talking weeks here)!. and set your alarm- dont use machines or anything computerised after you have decided to tr to sleep as although it can make you feel drowsy, it can still stimulate parts of your mind and your hormones which will just keep you awake!.

Always get up when the alarm says so, it will feel hard at first but sleep in and you wont feel tierd that evening, its another vicious cycle!. Eventually you will have caught up with lost sleep and soon after will have esabished a decent sleeping patern!.

It will feel hard and unnatrual at first but you need to be strict with yourself about your sleep, lieing in bed trying to sleep for a decent amount of time before you let yourself give up and do something else!. But if you do get up after deciding you cannot sleep, try reading or writing, not any TV or compputer stuff as it can make you more alert by stimulating your mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
