Question: Why are glasses (frames) so expensive in the US and how can I get frames online!?
I had an eye exam today and ended up getting glasses to correct my nearsightedness (finally after a year and half of struggling with this problem and it getting worse and worse no matter the eye exercises I've done)!.
All was fine until I had to pick out frames at the doctors office and nearly choked when I saw the price! I ended up asking if they had any "cheap" frames and she came back with a pair!. They are cute but they were still outrageous! The mark-up on frames must be astronomical!
What is a better way to buy frames for glasses!? And how do you go about getting your prescriptions in them online!? I don't understand the process of how you would go about doing this!. How do you know if you'd like the glasses you look at online or if they would work for your prescriptions!?
I ended up just buying the frames at the office but man, those are some expensive frames and I don't want to go through that again if there is a cheaper way in the future!. Please help me out!. I am cheap and I hate spending money!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had to wear glasses for the last 30 years, I am 40, they have always been expensive!.
There is an eye doctor here, where I live, that offers a free second pair from their budget frames, when you buy the first pair from their regular priced frames!.

There are about a dozen of GOOD wholesale eyeglass frames and prescription lenses companies on the Internet!. I merely typed in Wholesale Eyeglasses and it brought up dozens of markets for purchasing them online!. you merely fax your prescription to them and in 7 - 10 days you have your glasses at 1/3 the cost of stores!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Instead of using the new style, select the old style!. Something functional!. When you see them on line then go find them in the mall and compare the information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
