NHS Paying people not to smoke - good or bad?!
Question: NHS Paying people not to smoke - good or bad!?
Answers:
I wish someone had offered me something in exchange for quitting! I hope it works because smokers cost society millions, and they need help quitting not reminders that what they're doing is unhealthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A very bizarre idea!. People will start smoking just to get it!. However, i do suspect that it will save the nhs thousands in the long run for smoking related illnesses!. I think that paying out a few hundred a year could save them a hundreds a week in treating those illnesses though!. Also if it stops people from smoking, it's worth it!. I think keeping a person alive is definately worth a few quid a week!.
I do reckon that it probably costs less than courses and drugs as well!. We're wasting much more money on other things, so i don't really see the huge harm in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bad cos it will come out of our pockets,
they dont need money to help them to quit smoking - they need courses etc!.
How will they actually check theyve stopped smoking - could just cheat
and how about the people that may just need some extra cash so theyll become a smoker
itll probably encourage more smokers than deterre themWww@Answer-Health@Com
