An antiseptic is a "cleaner" such as alcohol or betadine!. It kills germs in oder to keep disease from invading a body!. For example, when someone gets a "shot," the nurse or doctor will wipe the skin with an alcohol wipe to "clean it off" so, when the needle punctures the skin, no germs are introduced into the body by the needle's breaking of the skin!.

An antibiotic is usually a medication taken internally to remove infections that are inside the body!. There are antibiotic creams that can be applied to the skin too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
