Question: I have a question about Ear and Throat what to do!? PLEASE READ!?
I had a wisdom tooth pulled in March!. Since then my ears have been in pain!. It feels like my ears are being stabbed with a q-tip and my ears are sensitive to sound!. My doctor said my ears were very red and told me to get Zyrtec D!. It is helping a little!. But what I don't understnad is why I'm taking a allergy medicine when I haven't had allergies ever!. Also for the longest time I'll have a problem of, jumping out of bed and gasping for air!. I can't breathe, or inhale or exhale air!. This would last for seconds!. I went to a sleeping clinic and they said I don't have sleep apena!. What do I do on these two matters!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd go back to whoever pulled out your wisdom tooth and say "my ears have been doing this"!. It could be that the Eustachian tube that runs between your throat, nose and ears is blocked or has been damaged in some way!. Your doctor sounds like an idiot for prescribing an anti-allergy medicine! It definitely sounds like you have a problem with your Eustachian tube!. It may be that you need a referral to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist - they deal in this sort of stuff all the time and will probably have the best answers!

You actually could be having allergies!. Just because you've never had them doesn't mean you cannot get them!. My daughter has to take Zyrtec for her ears too because they fill up with fluid!. Keep taking the Zyrtec and if it continues go back to the doctor!. For the breathing thing, start waking up 5 or 10 minutes earlier and then laying in bed for a little bit!. Then slowly get up so you do not aggravate whatever is causing you to stop breathing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
