Question about my blood type?!

Question: Question about my blood type!?
I donated blood last month and I just got a card from the Red Cross saying I'm AB+!. Is this a rare blood type!? What does it mean!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Only 3-4% of the population is AB+!. AB- is rarer than AB+!. AB+ is the universal recipient!. This means you can receive blood from any blood type!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You cannot mix blood!. If memory serves me right you have A, B, AB, and O!. I know O is the universal dOnor, think AB is the universal recipient!. Year since I went to school! In emergency situations they usually have a good supply of all blood groups for transfusion, based on the facts that X% of the population is A and so on!. Problems arise when you have a AB Patient who needs AB crossmatch blood or AB blood and they have zero in store, then the fun starts! The + or - are again issues!. Therefore less risk of AB+ donating to AB+ receipiant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This blood type is the rarest out of the A,B,O, and AB blood types!. You can recieve any donated blood type with AB blood but you can only donate to AB blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this means that you can recieve blood from any other person in the world, however you can only give blood to other type AB'sWww@Answer-Health@Com
