How effective are specially fitted ear plugs?!
Question: How effective are specially fitted ear plugs!?
In comparison to commercial ear plugs!. I asked this the other day with no response, still hoping someone might be able to tell me :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Extremely effective! My husband works around loud machines all night long, and the company gives them ear plugs every couple of weeks (Special ones fitted to his ears)!. He said it makes them a dull roar, like watching the TV on half mute!. The machines are very loud, I have heard them running!. However, I have had luck with the spongy ear plugs you can get at CVS - I have trouble sleeping with him snoring and 'other' noises - I am a very light sleeper - and the ones I bought at CVS worked great!
