Answers:
I've been burning incense for years, as has my sister and I've never experienced any ill effects due to it!. You're not directly inhaling the incense, and since it's meant to be burnt in an airy room it should pose no problem!. Also, it has different components to cigarettes thus lessening the chance of receiving ill health due to incense smoke!. Hopefully this has answered your question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The definite answer is!.!.!.!.!. nobody knows!.

At this point in time, nobody has any idea what causes or cures cancer, so researchers are grasping at whatever straws they can find links to!. At this point, I've heard everything down to the air we breathe and the water we drink will cause cancer!.

I doubt that the small amount of smoke inhaled with incense will be enough to cause lung cancer unless you burn a TON of incense on a daily basis!. However, if they are made with chemicals (which many are to hold the natural herbs and whatnot together), the burning chemicals would do much more to damage your system than the smoke itself!.
For example, lead paint is toxic!.!.!.!. but it's MUCH more toxic if it's burned and the fumes are inhaled (I've heard of people passing out within seconds of breathing in the fumes)!. Even generally helpful chemicals like Chlorine are toxic and harmful when burned and the fumes are inhaled!.

Once scientists finally figure out what causes cancer and what goes into it, then we might be able to figure out just how bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. Any smoke inhalation is considered a possible cause of lung cancer!. Soot can contain carcinogenic compounds such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons!. However, the risk involved here is less than tobacco or cigarettes smoking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i never thought of that actually, i always thought it was the tobacco that gave you cancerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, there is a possibility of contracting cancer because of second-hand smoke, but I'm not sure about incenseWww@Answer-Health@Com
