I have a red, sightly swollen patch, 2 days after my tetanus jab, is this normal!
Question: I have a red, sightly swollen patch, 2 days after my tetanus jab, is this normal!?
Answers:
Yes, perfectly normal!. Tetnus is one of the only immunizations that hurts more afterwards than the actual getting of the shot!. Your body is fighting the dead tetnus virus by making antibodies against it!. If you run a fever, or even just for pain if you're very uncomfortable, take Tylenol or Advil or Motrin and let it run its course!. The virus in the shot is dead, so there is no chance of a complication!. If you have a fever and it deosn't respond to fever reducers I mentioned then you'd need to see your doctor, but this is VERY unlikely!.
Good luck and just hang in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it's normal!. Tetnus is one of the worse shots to get!. Just take ibuprofin and the swelling, tenderness and redness should go away after a few more days!. They always recommend giving babies Tylenol before they get shots so they aren't so sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
that is completly normal, dont worry!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
