Its probebly a bruise or something!. LIke u hit ur head!. It may not turn a color but dont worry itll go away!. If not ask a docor they can enlighten you easily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you may be touching your temple, just to the side of your eyebrow!. That's a tender spot with some funky nerve endings (like the "funny bone" of your elbow), but it's not the "soft spot"!.

The fontanelle or "soft spot" should be on top of your head, maybe a couple inches behind your hairline!. In babies, the bones are not quite fused together permanently there (helps with childbirth), but are pretty much set by the age of two!.

Actually, there's more than one fontanelle, I'm finding out!. The anterior fontanelle is the biggie on top of a baby's head, and the one most people mean by "soft spot"!. The pterion, a point found in the temple, beside your eye, is a smaller soft spot in babies and the weakest spot in the skull of an adult!.

Sorry for the confusion, but your hairline runs all the way around your head, including across your temple!. Your soft spot may be on your hairline if your hairline is farther back than mine! I hope that the copious illustrations in the linked articles help you pinpoint the spot on your skull that causes you discomfort!.

Where does a person's forehead begin!? Sounds like a Zen koan!Www@Answer-Health@Com
