It's likely that you don't get high the first time you try weed. I remember asking "Is this it?" when I first tried it. Only later that night the 2nd time I really did myself in, and it was crazy. If you really do want to get that affect. Inhale while you're lighting it, take in as much as you can. It should burn. Hold it in, then try to take a little more breath in, hold it, then let go. When you start to breathe out the smoke will come out a second later. Or when you can't stop coughing, you know you got a good hit. Or just don't do it at all. Weed can be fun, but only when you're being responsible with it. Good luck and happy toking, I suppose.

Maybe your not inhaling or you can check it aint oregano.

I didn't feel anything at all the first 5 times I smoked marijuana. The 6th, though? Whoooooaaaaaa!
I have heard other people say that they didn't get high the first few times either.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again :)

you didn't inhale.

it took me three different times of smoking before i felt anything. Then next time you try just keep smoking. I think I smoke 3 joints my third time and then it just hit me like a truck. After that it doesnt take as much to get. Take good hits and hold them in.

^I like her.^ And also, you might be getting ripped off, you might be getting weak ****, or it just may not affect you the first few times. I've noticed it mostly happens with smarter people for some reason....
