Yes, I've had one done. It really wasn't too painful, a little cramping during the procedure. The procedure was fairly quick and once they were finished I felt fine. And no, they did not use anesthesia with me. I don't know if each person is different and how extensive each persons procedure may be, but mine went very smoothly.
