Is the liquid in Glo-sticks really poisonous (sp?)?!

Question: if for some reason you were to throw one, and it splits open, and it could go on your hands, it would probably not kill you or make you sick
that wouldnt be the case if you had just played piano, and someone tripped on the chord

most of them say they are non-toxic.. but i don't know i hope your not planning on eating one or mixing it with food or something
