People who slag off the NHS really p*** me off. We are very lucky to have free healthcare for all. You are probably the sort to moan about how long it takes to see a doctor to treat a sore finger, when all the doctors are busy trying to save someone's life.
The newspapers would have us believe all sorts of horror stories about the NHS. They say what they do because it sells papers. But it's all blown up out of all proportion, almost to the point of being a complete lie. Norris and Shipman are just 2 rare cases. I wonder how all the honest hard-working doctors and nurses in the NHS feel if people like you start to believe they are all like that?
Both my wife and I have had excellent treatment on the NHS, and without them, she might not be here today. People who slag the NHS probably have not ever been a patient, and are gullible enough to believe what the newspapers say. Sure they've got their problems but on the whole they do a great job.
