SLEEP is the best way to get over ANYTHING...

Also, go to walgreens and get a $2.00 bottle of Saline Nasil Spray. No med's... Just salt water... It flushes the bacteria and bad stuff out before it can take hold...

It not only helps you get over a cold but it stops you from getting another if you use it when around others that might be sick.

Good luck...

Get a LOT of sleep.

take your vitiams and rest.

a sinus infection isnt really a big deal. you should feel better in a day or 2 as long as you take your medicine.

Hot steamy shower/bath to loosen up mucus.

quit being such a pussye

irrigate with sterile saline from WalMArt,,about 2 bucks a bottle...I submerge the entire bottle in hot water for 3 minutes and this warms the saline...less discomfort and you can do it as much as you want,,its just salt water...no chemicals

I think it will be ok to go to school but tonight and tomorrow go sit in the bathroom for a little while and breathe in some steam

Hot shower let the steam do its work let your sinuses drain. Then bed.Plenty of fluids.

I used to get sinus infections a lot when I was pregnant. The best thing that worked for me was plenty of fluids and rest. Sleep as much as you can and drink plenty of juice and water. I'm also assuming that you are on antibiotics for it.

IDK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to get these all the time and I would put Vick's Vapo Steam in a bowl of really hot water then put a towel over my head and lean over the bowl and just breathe. It helps clear the passages and it just feels good.

My daughter had a sinus infection for a long time. There was no way she could have stayed home for as long as it took to get better. Take your medications, and follow any other instructions you get from the doctor. Oh, and go to school!

Edit: Haha and thumbs up for the Jersey Guy. Listen to him! He knows what he's talking about!

Use a saline nasal spray and get lots of rest. Staying home from school one more day would probably be wise.

rest a lot, take some vitamin c (capsuls, if you have them.) avoid going outside (get cold, and then coming down with worse.) drink lots of fluids.

Maybe use a humidifier, if you have access to one.

Lots of hot tea will help keep your nasal passages moist, and hot showers. A nasal decongestant may help if you're having sinus pressure.

You can also check with your doctor about a saline nasal spray that will keep the passages clean and slow the bacterial growth. If you're sure it's a sinus infection (green and/or bloody drainage when you blow your nose), be sure to visit a doctor anyway and at least get antibiotics. You don't want to risk a more serious infection spreading.

You could go to school, but it may be difficult b/c of the pain you are in from the sinus infection. If your upper molars have begun to ache, you may need an antibiotic. If you are running a fever, you should stay home.

I think you should stay home and sleep.sleep is great and allows your body to heal faster.Vicks vapor rub helps me,stay away from milk products, eat chicken soup and if you like hot foods like jalepeno's,they also help me.
Get well soon...zoe:)
