It could be your body is unused to the caffine. Coffee contains 2-3 times more caffine than coke. Caffine "overdose" (yes it is a drug, but it depends on the person how much will affect them.) It usally causes tiredness, stomach aches and headaches. Get sleep and drink water (and stay off the coke and coffee!)

Caffeine can sometimes make me feel sick.

Yes...if it is super strong.

Coffee always makes my stomach hurt. Regular and decaff.

coffee is very hard on the digestive system and stomach lining. it makes people sick when they drink too much of it, are unused to it, or have nothing else in their stomachs. if you feel a little nauseated from the coffee, (this may be too much info, but...) it will make you have a fairly uncomfortable cramps in your abdomin and probably give you diarrhea! if this doesn't happen, then the coffee is probably not your problem, and somehting else is makeing you sick.

Caffeine can make you sick but, you said you are use to drinking coke which also has caffeine. If you didn't eat anything bad and you don't have a cold or stomach virus, sometimes a lack of sleep can make you feel ill.

Yes, anything can make you sick if you are exposed to high doses of it. Especially if coffee is taken in an empty stomache on a daily basis, it may give you stomache ulcer because your stomache does not have any other foods to digest, therefore your stomache releases more acids to digest the coffee, which can be strong and can give you an ulcer by making a hole in the abdomen. However, research has also shown that frequent drinking of cofffe will de-stimulate your energy, in other words, coffee fools your body into thinking that it has energy, when you are using up all of it, therefore, it results in you feeling queezy and sick. This is a natural response of the body. Try not to drink so much coffee, especially on an empty stomache.

I hope that helps!

my hubby drink lots of coffee and to much makes him sick, he got headache and feel so restless.
